Macy’s, Inc. to Hire 76,000 Colleagues for Holiday Season and Beyond | New

Macy’s, Inc. (NYSE: M) today announced plans to hire approximately 76,000 full and part-time colleagues at its stores, call centers, and fulfillment and fulfillment centers Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury. Approximately 48,000 of these roles are for the holiday season, while the rest are ongoing opportunities to join the Macy’s, Inc. team part-time or full-time for the holidays and beyond.

A seasonal position at Macy’s, Inc. does not need to end after vacation:

Macy’s Fulfillment Center Jobs

About 21,200 of the 76,000 positions are for distribution center colleagues, such as warehouse colleagues and forklift operators, who make all the difference behind the scenes for Macy’s customers by receiving, sorting, preparing, packing and shipping orders placed online at macys.com or through the Macy’s mobile app. The majority of these positions are located in Goodyear, AZ; Sacramento, California; Cheshire, Connecticut; Joppé, MD; North Jackson, Ohio; Secaucus, New Jersey; Tulsa, okay; Portland, Tennessee; and Martinsburg, West Virginia. These facilities will participate in Macy’s National Recruitment Event on September 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in local time zones, while other Macy’s distribution centers will host recruiting events from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 00.

Positions in Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury stores

Approximately 50,000 Macy’s colleagues, 4,100 Bloomingdale colleagues and 315 Bluemercury colleagues will be hired for a variety of in-store roles critical to the customer shopping experience. The majority of these roles are within the sales and customer experience team as well as in merchandising and operations. Opportunities range from entry-level positions for candidates with varying skills and interests to leadership positions for candidates passionate about leading a diverse team and promoting a customer-centric sales culture.

Macy’s Credit and Customer Service (MCCS)

Approximately 300 MCCS colleagues will be hired to support the digital and in-store shopping experience and manage relationships with our omnichannel customers and credit card holders. These roles focus on supporting customer needs throughout the omnichannel experience and resolving issues so customers can return to shopping at their favorite store.
